This weekend I’ll be in LA & Riverside to attend the Sea No Evil show. Looking forward to meeting up with a few clients and friends before heading over to Riverside. During my planning, I was talking with Dimex about stopping by and checking out his shop. After a few emails, I had Mr. Saulvation from Merchline send over a box of prints, keychains and stickers and decided to make this a mini-event to meet up with the couple fans out there.
With that said, I’ll be at the Dimex1 store in Pomona this Saturday (July 31st) from noon – 2pm (give or take). It’s a small store, so only expecting a few to show up, but if you do stop by, you’ll get some free Hydro74 prints and goodies. This really just a lunch and hang out, as well as support a fellow designer trying to build something in this market. so come out if you can and support his efforts and say ‘hi’.

The new issue of Digital Arts is now available with a little section on a tutorial I did up for them. It’s a step by step on how I do most illustrations, but the bonus is that it comes with some amazing free vector & font files.

Hydro74 vs Digital Arts Tutorial
Here is a little sneak peak of what is going down for Flat Fitty at ASR. I should be hanging out with them for a bit during the show. If you are attending ASR, check out the Flat Fitty booth. I’m pretty excited to see how it all comes together and appreciating the fact they are pimping the work I did for them. Amazing!
In a few days I’ll be flying out to Riverside to attend Sea No Evil. I am very excited for this since this is the second year of being involved. This show is a donation based show and these pieces are among the few I’m contributing. Go and bid.!

Over the past few months I’ve been working with Tian, Elizabeth & Neo over at Flat Fitty on some samples. I’m not a hat developer by any means, but really enjoyed doing these up. There will be a small stock of these available, but will keep the limited. If all goes to plan, I should have a nice little Flat Fitty Display going on with a solo gallery show I’m planning for September. More info to come.
